The La Bergerie Spot

Since the west wind is the prevailing wind here in summer, we’ve chosen to base ourselves at La Bergerie to avoid Almanarre’s waves when the wind is from the west. It’s indeed very difficult to launch a kite in the swell.

For your safety and comfort, you’ll find our school boats moored directly at the end of the street. Your lessons will take place in the Bay of Hyères, along the Giens peninsula, facing Porquerolles island. This nearly enclosed body of water provides exceptional conditions for your lessons.

However, it’s not possible to launch from La Bergerie beach by kitesurf, so it’s necessary to use the boats.

The shallow waters of La Bergerie beach allow for easy and safe swimming facing Porquerolles. You’ll find many activities and accommodation along La Bergerie. Free parking.
