Level 2 – DRE

Youth Training Center Recognized by FFVoile

Ages 8 to 21 – Kite & Wingfoil – Race & Freestyle The DRE (Regional Training Program) at Spot Kite & Wing Center is a high-level structure recognized by FFVoile. It is aimed at young riders aged 8 to 19, who wish to commit to a structured sports project, while retaining the essential: the joy of riding and progressing together.

Prerequisites: Autonomy and Personal Equipment

Access to the DRE requires:

being independent on the water,
owning your own equipment (kite or wing, foil, safety equipment),
a desire to train regularly and to be involved in a team.

👉 The DRE is not an introductory school: it is for young people already comfortable in their practice.

Have Fun, Progress, and Discover Competition

The DRE is above all a space for emulation, sharing, and enjoyment. Competition is approached as:

a tool for progression,
a way to challenge oneself,
a formative experience, never a constraint.

The goal is not performance at all costs, but to inspire, to transmit the fundamentals of competition, and to support each young person at their own pace of development.

A Program Based on Emulation and Enjoyment

The entire program, supervised by our coaches, is based on:

Level 3 – Hyères Kitesurf Youth Development Program

Access to High-Level Competition and French National Teams

The Hyères Kitesurf Youth Development Program represents the culmination of the sports training pathway offered at Spot Kite & Wing Center. It is aimed at athletes committed to a long-term performance project, with the goal of reaching national and international high-level competition.

Annual Selections

Entry to the Youth Development Program is through official selections held annually in May. These selections identify young riders with high potential, capable of committing to a demanding sports project, combining performance, consistency, and personal investment.

A Hub at the Heart of French High-Level Sports

The Hyères Youth Development Program is a benchmark training location, which:

hosts and supports the French national kitefoil and freestyle kitesurf teams,
actively participates in the federal performance pathway,
allows young athletes to train alongside top-level athletes.

Among the past or present riders at the site are:

Lauriane Nolot, Edgar Ulrich, Axel Mazella, as well as many international athletes competing on major circuits.

Comprehensive Athlete Support

Athletes integrated into the Youth Development Program benefit from:

high-level technical coaching,
